Das neue Muster Arukas von Molly Hollibaugh (heisst übrigens rückwärts gelesen Sakura, das ist der Hersteller der Micron Pens) hat wirklich alles um ein neuer Liebling zu werden! Die Abwandlungsmöglichkeiten sind endlos und da es vom Zentrum aus gezeichnet wird, eignet es sich auch wunderbar für Mandalas und Zendalas. Es gibt diese Woche eine Diva Challenge dazu, wo einfach nur Tiles mit Akuras gezeichnet werden sollen. The new Arukas (spelled backwards it's Sakura) is becoming a favourite pattern not only of me! I love the varieties it offers and the fact, that it starts in the centre. That makes it a lovely pattern to be used also for Mandalas and Zendalas.

Love the sketchbook page, how you put the "instructions" behind your art! but I must say, the drum is simply stunning. It is probably the most unique usage of Arukas I've seen. All that space, and the way you embellished it with feathers and petals, and leaves. It's very North American :)
